Kuntala Waterfall is waterfall located in Kuntala, Adilabad district, Telangana. It is located on Kadem river in Neredigonda mandal. It is the highest waterfall in the state of Telangana with a height of 147 feet (45 meters).

These waterfalls are in the dense forests inhabited by the Gonds. Kunta in Gondi and Telugu language means pond. Kuntalu means several ponds. The waterfall originates from a confluence of several ponds that lead to the river water flow.

Formed by Kadam River, Kuntala falls cascades down through two steps and can be seen as two separate adjacent falls after the peak rains. It is one of the famous one day outings from Hyderabad. There is a motorable road till the entry point of falls from where steps are available to reach bottom of falls. The falls is about 10 minutes (one way) walk from the entry point.

    Day #1: Birla Mandir
    Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple, built on a 280 feet (85 m) high hillock called Naubath Pahad on a 13 acres (53,000 meters square) plot. The construction took 10 years and was opened in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna Mission. The temple was constructed by Birla Foundation, which has also constructed several similar temples across India, all of which are known as Birla Mandir.391

    India named after Lumbini of Nepal dedicated to Lord Buddha. Since it is located in the center of the city and is in close proximity to other tourist attractions, such as Birla Mandir and Necklace Road, it attracts many visitors throughout the year.Boating is one of the best part and people go to the Budha idol placed in the middle of the tank band in the boats. Constructed in 1994, the park is maintained by the Buddha Purnima Project Authority that functions under the directives of the Government of Telangana. In 2007, it was one of the targets of the 25 August 2007 Hyderabad bombings that killed 44 people.615
